Echoes of the Past Starfield Walkthrough

  • Triggering Echoes Of The Past Quest: To initiate the Echoes of the Past Quest in Starfield, you must first complete the "Rook Meets King" quest. Afterward, you'll be sent with another Crimson Fleet rookie to undergo testing on a distant planet.

  • Securing The Area: Head to Suvorov Planet in the Kryx System and land on The Lock. Listen to Delgado's instructions and explore The Lock while securing the area. Use the scanner if needed to navigate the large area.

  • Kill Immature Grylloba: To secure the area, you'll need to eliminate all the alien enemies in Starfield, known as Immature Grylloba.

  • Searching for Clues on Jasper Kryx: Follow the quest marker to the Control Room, speak with Delgado, and search for clues on Jasper Kryx. Interact with the Workstation and select Security Controls, then Override Lockdown.

  • Finding Jasper Kryx's Clue: Jasper Kryx's clue can be found in his cell. Proceed to the D-Block of the Prison with Mathis, then follow the quest marker to the Guard Tower. Inside, interact with the Workstation and read the D-Block 03 Prisoner List to identify Jasper Kryx's cell number.

  • Unlock Jasper's Cell: Open the D-Block Switch Control file and select Unlock Section 03 Switch. You can also read the last file to open an optional cell (D-02-106) and collect the weapons inside.

  • Collect Evidence: In Jasper's cell, interact with the lamp to find "Best Laid Plans," an audio log that leads to the next clue. Open the lockers next to the showers and retrieve Carter's Gig (Evidence).

  • Open Kryx's Escape Tunnel: Use the Maintenance Access Computer to open Kryx's escape tunnel, then proceed to the Shuttle Bay. Speak with Delgado through the Intercom and choose your response regarding teamwork.

  • Defeat Juvenile Grylloba Queen: Equip a strong weapon as you'll encounter the Juvenile Grylloba Queen at the Shuttle Bay. Defeat her and her minions to board the spaceship and return to The Key.

  • Obtaining the Keelhauler: Inside The Key, speak with Delgado and give him Jasper's clue. As a reward, you'll receive a Legendary Pistol called the Keelhauler. Complete the quest by speaking with Mathis and Naeva at the Last Nova and reporting to General Kibwe Ikande.
